Weleda’s Natural Almond Facial Products – Sensitive

The almond tree blossoms richly with beautiful red or white flowers. The trees can grow up to seven metres tall and there are several different varieties.

The variety from which Weleda gets its almond oil is Prunus amygdalus, which is a sweet almond tree. The fine, almost transparent, scentless oil is pressed from the kernels.

Almond oil is renowned for being well tolerated by all skin types, particularly sensitive skin. It is also easily absorbed. Thanks to its high concentration of essential fatty acids, it is effective at protecting the skin from dehydrating and it also strengthens the skin’s natural barrier.

The Iris series is a hydrating facial series for skin up to 30 years of age that needs help to balance the level of oil and hydration.

Pure plant extracts of iris root and calendula, along with cold-pressed vegetable oils such as jojoba oil and almond oil, make the skin soft, rehydrated and balanced. The series has a mild scent of natural essential oils

Weleda’s Natural Wild Rose Facial Products – reduces first lines

The Wild Rose product series is a vitalising and smoothing skin care series for women aged 30-40 who wish to counteract the first signs of aging, such as fine lines, reduced glow and dryness.

The series is based on organic wild rose seed oil – Rosa moschata which , with its unique qualities, helps to strengthen and maintain the skin’s elasticity and reduce the visibility of fine lines. The skin has more hydration and energy and is more able to resist early aging. The products have mild scent of Rosa damascena, natural essential oils.

Weleda’s Natural Pomegranate Facial Products – Counteracts Signs of aging

The Pomegranate series is a reinvigorating and protective facial series that is specially designed for mature skin aged 40+. Contains organic cold-pressed pomegranate oil that is rich in protective antioxidants and also stimulates cell renewal.

The skin becomes firmer and smoother, and wrinkles and lines become less apparent. It also contains argan oil, borage oil and macadamia nut oil that make the skin soft and supple, whilst improving its protective barrier. High quality plant extracts of millet and blackthorn berries give the skin new energy and vitality.

Weleda’s Cleansing Facial Product Range

Weleda’s mild cleansing products are based on completely natural plant oils and plant extracts and cleanse the skin of impurities and makeup in an effective but gentle manner, without drying it out. Ingredients like jojoba oil, extract of wild rose leaf and witch hazel makes cleansing fell mild and pleasant but also refreshing.

The choice of cleanser is based on individual skin type and its needs. After cleansing, the skin is perfectly prepared for the subsequent skin care products from either the Iris, Wild Rose or Pomegranate series.
