Gisele Clarifies She Uses Sunscreen – Just NOT Chemical Sunscreen

We celebrated on the 4/02/2011 when Super model Gisele Bundchen angered the dermatology community by slamming the use of chemical sunscreen. The head of dermatology Dolival Loao, saw this as the perfect opportunity to play on Gisele’s words and stir up her remarks with a negative spin.

Since then, Gisele has made clarifications for her remarks to the media saying that she does use sunscreen, but not chemical sunscreen. She later made the following statement on her personal blog.

“I would like to clarify the misunderstanding about the use of sunblock. I do use sunblock but also I try my best not to be exposed to the sun when it is too strong. My line of skincare products are all natural and do not contain SPF. I feel we all need to pay more attention to what we are putting on our skin. I definitely know the importance of using sunscreen and I try to look for more natural options.”

We know what you mean Gisele. We know you’re comments were pure and straight from the heart and we’re behind you all the way. Don’t back down from your values and your fight to encourage the use of toxic free skin care products.

These unethical dermos just want to endorse what makes money for them and they’ll do anything to brainwash consumers.
