Dr Bronner Hemp Pure Castile Liquid Soap – Peppermint
There’s really nothing this Liquid soap cannot do. You can use it as a body wash, use it as a hand soap, hair shampoo, bubble bath, use it to cleaning your dishes, wash your clothes, mop the floor, general house cleaning and even brush your teeth. I use it as a body wash for the most part and surprisingly, my sensitive skin has never had a reaction to the peppermint oil. The texture is luxurious and the fragrance is wonderful. Even without the toxic SLS ingredient, it leathers really well leaving your skin super clean and well moisturised. If the scent is too overwhelming for you, try from the other 7 fragrance selections. You can use this product as a facial cleanser and a hair shampoo as well, but I prefer to use it just for my body. I like to keep my face and hair products separate. |
Dr Bronner Organic Shikakai Body Soap – Lavender I initially tried using this product as a shampoo for my hard to manage hair and it worked out quite well. For the price that I’m paying and for the results that I got, it was sure worth every scent. I did taste some of this product when it dripped into my mouth, and it tasted like sweet syrup and smells like honey cookies. I sugary taste and smell is from the high concentration of organic sucrose and white grape juice If using this product as a body wash, it’s best to squeeze some into a sponge for a lathering effect. This Shikakai soap doesn’t lather as welll as the Castile Soaps. In summing this product, I feel like a kid in a candy store when using this product. |
Dr Bronner Organic Body Balm – Naked Makes my heals, elbows, knees, nails, hands and anywhere that is dry and cracked, soft and smooth. This balm is extremely emollient yet not greasy. The wonderful scent comes from the rich organic essential oils added. So you can be sure that the fragrance is not artificial chemicals. Dr Bronner Alll-One Hemp Pure Castile Soap Bars – Rose I’m not really a soap bar kind of person. But I do make an exception for Dr Bronner’s soap bars. The rose scent is still one of my favorites and the smell is devine. This old fashioned soap bar works just as well as the liquid version and doesn’t dry out my skin. Best of all I’m not getting any adverse allergic reactions which I’ve experienced with regular soaps in the past. Nothing too spectacular but it lathers well and most importantly, it works. Dr Bronner Organic Hand / Body Lotion – Patchouli Lime This is a great lotion, lightweight so no greasy skin after putting it on. Absorbs quickly. Has a nice light scent which is lovely while you’re applying the lotion and then you don’t really smell anymore after your skin absorbs it. I have normal skin and this is plenty moisturizing for me. Dr Bronner Organic Hand Soap Wash – Tea Tree This hand wash last forever. The concentration is great, so half a pump is enough to remove any nasties from your hands. The tea tree works as an antiseptic killing germs and bacteria from the hands. Very economical to use. Each bottle should last you more than 2 months. Dr Bronner Organic Shikakai Conditioning Hair Rinse – Citrus Start by shampooing your hair using any of the Dr Bronner soaps or with your personal choice of shampoos. My hair didn’t react to well to the Dr Bronner soaps. So as for myself, I use a special shampoo from the John Masters Organics hair care range. After shampooing, pour half a cup of the Organic Shikakai Conditioning hair rinse into a cup of water and stir until the concentration is even. Now this is where the magic happens. Slowly pour the conditioning concentration onto your hair and massage and comb with your hands for 1 – 2 minutes. Depending on your hair type, you can repeat this process for those with very dry and brittle hair. Rinse the conditioner out with water to reveal a soft, silky, tangle free hair. After a few applications, I noticed greater body and shine. |
