This is a light weight moisturising body lotion that absorbs wonderfully into your skin and provides a bit of glimmering radiance to your skin tone. If you’re after something thicker, then this lotion may not be the right choice. This is light weight but moisturizes your skin to perfection. The sunflower seed oil and royal jelly work well for my face and neck, and the scent of vanilla is deliciously attractive. Can be used as a facial moisturiser as well. Sunflower oil moisturises and mica, a light reflecting mineral, enhances your skin’s natural glow. The result is soft, shimmering skin you’ll love.

This is one of my favorite products from Burt’s Bees. It is such a popular product because it works. Burts Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream has won numerous beauty awards. When I apply this to my dry hands, nails and toes, I get instant relieve. I don’t get the greasy yucky feeling that makes my fingers feel slippery. It feels healed, treated and deeply moisturised. The lemon scent is not overly powering and a little goes a long way. Apply this every day and you’ll notice stronger shinier nails and softer cuticles within just a few weeks. This is an awesome product! There is nothing quite like this zesty cuticle cream. Must try.

When it comes to hand soaps, the 2 things that I look for is the moisturizing effect after its use and secondly, the scent. You walk into your local supermarket or pharmacy and all you see are common fragranced liquid soaps with fragrances like lavender, rose, aloe vera and so on…… Frankly I’ve become quite bored to these perfume smells, so coming across Burt’s Bees citrus and ginger root hand soap provided me with a good change. The aroma is a natural earth scent that is absolutely divine and I love the natural foaming cleansing complex that moisturises and softens for a naturally clean, soft hands.

Burt’s Bees Avocado Butter Hair Treatment

Most people apply this treatment product to wet hair after shampooing. But my little trick is to apply this treatment to dry hair – I will shampoo my hair making sure it is all nice and clean, blow dry it until it’s completely dry, then apply this Burt’s Bees Avocado Butter Hair treatment to the DRY HAIR, put on a shower cap and leave it in for a good 1 – 2 hours before rinsing out. This deep moisturizing hair treatment product will make your hair more shinny and voluminous. Another trick is to start at the ends of your hair, working upwards into the roots, then massage it into your scalp, follow this procedure and you will be amazed at what Burts Bees Avocado Butter Hair Treatment can do. It’s worked for me and I’m sure it will work for you.

Burts Bees Citrus and Ginger Root Body Wash

The first reaction I got when I was showering with this product was that this was a very low lathering body wash. I guess this was sort of expected as product doesn’t contain any chemical foaming agents and the ingredients are all natural. Since it didn’t foam up, I used a lot more than I needed and my first bottle was used up a lot quicker than expected. But now realized that a little goes a long way especially when used in conjunction with a body sponge. The smell is light and washes off quite easily. This Burts Bees body wash is great for people with sensitive skin. The thing I love about all Burt’s Bees products is that the scent are never on the perfumy side but always on the natural earth side.

Burt’s Bees – Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash

Although it is called a baby shampoo, Burts Bees Baby shampoo & wash is definitely not just for babies. It is great for people with allergic and sensitive skin because the ingredients are very mild making it extremely gentle on your skin. As a person with sensitive skin, I am very happy with it on mine. It does a terrific job cleansing your body and hair and perfect for delicate soft baby skin, people with eczema, psoarsis, or prone to allergic reactions . Using 99.5% natural calming ingredients, it is safe for babies to use and wouldn’t sting your babies eyes during the wash.

Burts Bees Carrot Nutritive Day Cream & Night Cream

Burts Bees Carrot Nutritive day and night cream is not for the faint heart. It is super rich and hydrating and it works exceptionally well during the dry winter months. I wouldn’t recommend this for people with oily skin – don’t get me wrong, this cream doesn’t clog your pores, but it may become too overwhelming for your oily skin to handle. It is more suited for people in their mid 30s and onwards with skin that is more mature and dry. The day cream has a lighter texture than that of the night cream but is just as effective and a light layer is all that is needed for complete hydration. I love the sweet carroty smell. If you’re skin is on the drier side of the equation, then believe me, it will really work wonders during the dry winter months.
