Honey Oatmeal Mask

Cook the plain oatmeal and add honey and mix thoroughly.  Wait for it to cool and apply the mask on your face. Leave for 20 – 30 minutes then peel and wash off. The oatmeal works to extract the oil from the pores and the honey works for it’s antibacterial properties

Honey Cinnamon Mask

Mix 1/4 cup of honey with cinnamon powder and stir until it becomes a thick paste. Apply the mask on your face and leave for 20 – 30 minutes. The cinnamon and honey works as a great natural remedy for acne.

Lime and groundnut oil spot treatment

Mix one tablespoon of groundnut oil with one tablespoon of lime juice. Mix until the lime juice and completely blended in with the oil and spot treat the problem and effected areas of the skin.

Mint juice and turmeric powder mask.

Mix turmeric powder in mint juice to create a mild acne paste. Apply to the skin for 20 – 30 minutes and then wash off. A very effective and popular home made mask. Great for the treatment of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, & other skin infections.

Rose and Lime facial disinfectant

Mix lime juice and rose water in equal portions and apply every night after cleansing your face. Keep it for 20 – 30 minutes and wash off. Effective way to treat blackheads and mild acne problems.

Lemon juice and rose water treatment

Mix lemon juice and rose water in equal portions and apply every night after cleansing your face. You might feel an initial sting from the lemon juice. Keep it for 20 – 30 minutes and wash off. Lemon juice is a natural astringent and mild antibacterial agent. Rose petals, from which rose water is made, also have antibacterial properties. If irritation occurs, discontinue.

Tea Tree Oil

A great natural remedy for treating existing acne lesions. Great for topical spot treatment. Tea tree oil has strong anti-bacterial properties that kill the bacteria which causes pimples.

Basil Leaves

Mix dried basil leaves to 1 cup boiling water. Allow to cool and apply to skin.

Nutmeg treatment

Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. Pimples disappear like magic without leaving a mark.

Sandalwood and rosewater

Mix sandalwood paste with rosewater and apply on the face. Rinse off after 20 – 30 minutes
