Don’ts For Acne

Ditch your chemical acne treatment regime, and switch to a completely natural routine.

Here are 9 acne DON’Ts to help prevent pimples.

1) Don’t Over Cleanse or Over Scrub

Don’t over cleanse or over scrub. As tempting as it is to achieve that squeaky clean feeling with your cleanser, the over cleansing effect can dry out your skin causing your oil glands to work overdrive to compensate for the dryness.

The harsh over scrubbing effect may cause too much pressure to your skin as it gets overly irritated and inflamed with constant harsh rubbing.

How to Get Rid of Your Back Acne Problems

Posted by admin | Acne | Tuesday 11 May 2010 3:44 pm
Back Acne

Better to have acne on the back than the face, right? But wouldn’t it be even better to be acne free and have no acne at all.

Although back acne can be easily covered up with clothing, come summer time when the weather starts to heat up and you want to reveal a bit more skin, then wearing a singlet or a bikini can become rather embarrassing if you have a back full of dots.

The process to treat back acne is similar to that for treating the acne on your face. Cleanse, exfoliate, detoxify and hydrate. However, since there are more sebaceous glands in the back area and the skin is much thicker, back acne is more resistant to normal acne treatments and can be especially tough to treat. Back acne can take the form of pimples, blackheads, or whiteheads, but often they come as deep, painful cysts.
