Simple
In place of synthetic active ingredients Trilogy use 100% natural active ingredients which work in harmony with your skin’s natural function. In place of potentially irritating synthetic colours and fragrances Trilogy only use 100% natural essential oils and plant extracts. In place of non-sustainable petrochemically derived bases such as mineral oils, petrolatum and petroleum, Trilogy only use 100% natural plant oils. Trilogy employs a safe, reliable and universally approved preservative system (always at levels of less than 0.7%) complimented with natural preservatives such as grapefruit seed extract and vitamin E.

Vital
Trilogy products contain only the highest levels of active natural ingredients possible for optimum performance and results you will see and feel. All Trilogy products and packaging are biodegradable. Trilogy is strongly against animal testing. Trilogy does not test its products or their prototypes on animals. We work with happy human volunteers instead!

Our standards require the maximum amount of natural and organic ingredients, clear ingredient labeling and the absolute minimum of ingredient processing and synthetic ingredient inclusion.

Trilogy's natural ingredients may undergo some ecological processing. This includes the hydrolysis of complex proteins into simple amino acids, fat-splitting of oils to produce Glycerin and fatty acids, esterification and hydrogenation.

Trilogy's ingredients are all independently tested for safety and meet the criteria set out in the European Union Directive for Cosmetic Safety.

Trilogy Products made using only oils and oil-based ingredients are 100% natural and do not require the addition of preservatives. To prevent oxidisation, sometimes natural antioxidants such as Tocopherol (Vitamin E) and Rosemary Oil are used in these products.

Trilogy products made with the addition of water (such as creams, lotions and shampoos) require a preservative system to protect against yeasts, moulds and bacteria and to ensure that they are safe to use over time and will not pose a danger to human health.

We preserve these products with globally approved preservatives (non-paraben). These preservatives are always used at levels of 1% or less and are complimented by the addition of natural preservatives such as Vitamin E and Grapefruit Seed extract.

The toxicity and biodegradability criteria in our standards ensure that all ingredients are safe and have minimum environmental impact.

Labeling

Trilogy adheres to the internationally recognised standard of the International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI). By adopting this standard we can make the following promises to you:

• ALL ingredients used in the manufacture of Trilogy products are clearly marked on the labels so that consumers can make informed decisions about the products they are purchasing.

• No secondary ingredients or combination of ingredients are omitted from the labels of our products.

• All ingredients are listed in descending order of inclusion.

• Potential allergens are listed on the labels, allowing customers who have had allergic reactions to such ingredients in the past to make informed purchasing decisions.
