Are Balm Balm Products Organic?

Every product Balm Balm make is 100% Organic and 100% Natural.

Can Balm Balm Tea Tree Foot Balm be Used For Athlete's Foot?
If the athletes foot is in full bloom something to dry it up is required and neat Tea Tree essential oil is wonderful at this. If someone is prone to athletes foot, then daily application of our Tea Tree Foot Balm is a brilliant deterrent. It is also good to use when athletes foot is almost gone to recondition the skin and to keep it from coming back.

Are Balm Balm Products Certified?
Balm Balm are certified by the Soil Association so you know; a) We have our ingredient and manufacturing process chain examined and verified each & every year. b) Our product batches and tracing of these across every order is tracked.

Are Balm Balm Products Tested On Animals?

Balm Balm do not and will not test on animals. Balm Balm do not believe in, or have ingredients that have been tested on animals - simple. The entire Balm Balm product range is certified as such by the BUAV and endorsed by Naturewatch.

How 'GREEN' are Balm BalmProducts?
Balm Balm is a family company and try to make as Green a footprint as possible. They commute to the end of their garden by foot. They use recyclable packaging and are proud that from September 2009 - all new packaging will be from FSC approved source and that our manufacturer is a Carbon Neutral company.

Who is the Founder of Balm Balm?
Glenda Taylor is an aromatherapist, perfumer and natural formulation consultant. Glenda founded Balm Balm a 100% organic skincare company in 2005. Balm Balm is the result of Glenda's dream to create an affordable 100% organic skincare range with wide distribution and Soil Association certification. In 2007, Balm Balm won The Soil Association's Organic industry award for Best Organic Beauty and Bodycare product. Alongside Balm Balm Glenda has a Bespoke Perfume Service making one off Perfumes for individuals as well as ready to wear scents. One of Glenda's perfumes 'Angel Water' has recently won critical acclaim from Rocca Dove, both in The Mail on Sunday and The Green Beauty Bible, as one of his favourite natural fragrances. A thought sharted by Vogue UK, who declared Glenda to be one of their favourite aromatherapists!

Is the coconut oil cleanser supposed to be highly comedogenic?
Virgin coconut oil which is solid and has a high fat content has some adverse press in regards to being comedogenic but also some wonderful press with regards to its effect on skin, especially delicate skins. The word comedogenic could really be applied to just about any oil with a fat / wax content but this is very extreme and not really accurate. However, our cleanser is made from fractionated coconut which means that it only contains the non fatty part of the oil making it lighter than any other vegetable oil available. You can feel this just by touching it. This also makes it easily removable with water which is what it is designed to do and therefore leaving no chance of clogging the pores.
